Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Number of Procedure Rooms: 4
Number of Holding Rooms: 6
Number of Staff: 16
Day Shift Staff: Manager, Supervisor, 15 combined RNs and CVTs
Night Shift Staff: Call team
Patient Ratios:
- 1:1 during procedures
- 3:1 in holding
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech, MacLab

Typical Procedures Performed

Interventional Cardiac
Structural Heart
Interventional Neuro
Interventional Peripheral Vascular
IR/Special Procedures

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Cath Lab Tech Certification

Preferred Skills

Experience with IR/Special Procedures

Additional Information

Personality Fit: Energetic, outgoing, friendly
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital
Call Requirements: Full call team capability 24/7, with two call teams maintained at all times
Floating Areas: None
