Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist II - Radiation Oncology

Location: Chillicothe, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform advanced radiation therapy procedures including SBRT, SRS, and complex CT simulations
  • Analyze imaging and resolve setup variances
  • Support training for students and new staff
  • Participate in daily equipment quality assurance (QA)
  • Coordinate service needs and help develop departmental competencies, techniques, and policies
  • Lead safety and quality improvement efforts
  • Stay current with emerging technologies
  • Participate in incident learning and peer review
  • Manage charge reconciliation when needed

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No on-call required
  • Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience in radiation therapy (higher value used)
  • Demonstrated competency in CT Simulation and SRS/SBRT delivery (Brainlab preferred)
  • Completion of Radiation Therapist II Competency Advancement Checklist
  • Minimum 1-2 years prior travel experience required
  • Experience with EMR systems: EPIC/ARIA
  • Current ARRT Radiation Therapist (T) license and valid state license
  • BLS/BCLS certification
  • Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility

This position is ideal for experienced Radiation Therapists with advanced skills in radiation oncology procedures and prior travel experience.
