Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech - Radiology

Location: Durant, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Tuesday - Saturday (variable hours)


Job Description

  • Provide timely diagnostic mammography services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
  • Perform routine mammography procedures including screening, diagnostic mammography, needle localization, and specimen imaging.
  • Additional responsibilities may include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
  • Work with EMR system Cerner.
  • No call or floating required.
  • 48-hour guaranteed shifts may not be accommodated.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including experience within the last year.
  • Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Mammography.
  • Completed mammography and bone density technologist training.
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA school with relevant technologist training.

Additional Information

  • Shift schedule includes variable hours on Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Scrub color is flexible.
