Description
Radiation Oncology Contract Position
Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Responsible for performing radiation oncology procedures as prescribed and directed by the radiation oncologist
- Record delivery of patient treatments accurately and timely
- Provide patient care demonstrating clinical skills
- Utilize effective communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians
- Perform ancillary duties including:
- Processing films and assisting with darkroom functions
- Answering and transferring telephone calls accurately
- Assisting with patient transportation to and from the department
- Restocking supplies and notifying appropriate personnel when supplies need ordering
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Required Qualifications
- License: Must hold a valid license appropriate for Radiation Oncology practice (e.g., Radiation Therapist license)
- Specialty: Radiation Oncology
