Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health (Days)

Job Description

• Provide speech therapy services to home health clients.
• Deliver direct patient care and collaborate with team members.
• Participate in developing comprehensive patient care plans.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) Home Care experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellow candidates accepted.
• Valid Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist license.
• Valid driver’s license and must have own vehicle (firm requirement).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to Speech Language Pathology (updated within 1 year).
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment including language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care experience.

Additional Information

• This is a home health position.
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• At least two specific interview dates/times must be provided; “anytime” availability is not accepted.
