Job Opportunity: RN - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: PACU
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Staffing: No unit secretary or tech; only RNs on staff
- Equipment: Bedside monitors, arterial lines (a-lines)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: 12-hour shifts with call rotations
- Floating Policy: No floating
- Patient Experience Focus: OAS CAHPS
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
