Job Opportunity: RN Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult - Days

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult setting.
• Utilize specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Work primarily on a 12-hour day shift, including weekend rotations.
• Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.
• Patient census is growing due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.

Required Qualifications

• License: Current RN license valid in Colorado.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar.
• Certifications:

  • Current BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Current ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Other: Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
• Must be willing to participate in call rotation.
• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).

Additional Information

• Traveler housing may be available in newly remodeled studio or one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (fully furnished, utilities included).
• No pets allowed.
• Housing availability is limited and based on availability.
