Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- X-Ray Tech with Operating Room (OR) experience
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts
- Shift times: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- No on-call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in California
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
- CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
- Fluoro Permit (Fluoroscopy Permit)
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender, education verification, and motor vehicle report if applicable
- FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required and updated annually
- Education verification required (official transcripts/diplomas or attestation if verification unsuccessful)
- Sex offender search within 90 days of start
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions or facial hair)
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- TB screening and annual renewal
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
- Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start and renewed annually
