Job Summary

Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care in both the inpatient (IP) and emergency room (ER) settings. The role involves assessment, planning, delegation, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously assess patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions throughout care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as ordered by providers, consistent with standards of care.
• Document assessments, nursing diagnoses, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Manage care of patients presenting in the Emergency Room, including initial and ongoing assessments.
• Communicate patient care plans and significant changes to interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
• Provide patient and family education to reduce anxiety and support care goals.
• Participate in performance improvement, risk management, and continuous education activities.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and use of personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, CNAs, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado.
• Experience in nursing with a focus on inpatient and emergency room care.
• Ability to manage care for patients with diverse developmental and sociocultural backgrounds.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work night shifts.
