Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Job Overview

• Responsible for patient care through the Respiratory Care process: assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care and achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, every other weekend, and every other holiday. Days of the week may vary based on manager needs.
• Return to Office (RTO) allowed no more than 3 days.
• Orientation includes virtual and in-person components; failure to complete full orientation results in immediate termination.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
• Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• More than one completed travel contract
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with background checks, drug screening, employment and educational verification, immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, Influenza, MMR, TdaP, Varicella), and other standard healthcare screenings.
• Must complete competency exams and core mandatory annual training.
• Badge ID must be obtained in person during orientation; photo submissions are not accepted.

Notes

• Orientation includes virtual welcome meetings, online modules, and in-person classes typically held Tuesday through Thursday.
• POCT (Point of Care Testing) class attendance is required but not during orientation week.
• Unit-based orientation schedule will be provided by the manager.

This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists with prior travel contract experience seeking a structured, collaborative environment with a defined schedule and comprehensive orientation process.
