Job Description
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and delegation of patient care priorities. The nurse will supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
- Experience in Med Surg and Telemetry settings
- Experience in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
- Experience with central lines
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Contract Length
- 13 weeks

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.
- The nurse must demonstrate leadership and delegation skills appropriate to the education and experience of available staff.
- Must maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
This position requires adherence to facility policies and procedures and the ability to work in a fast-paced LTAC/Telemetry environment.
