Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility with 199 beds.
- The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as Travel.
- The area offers year-round sunshine and numerous outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking, ATV riding, hunting, and horseback riding.
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Successful completion of the Respiratory Therapist Competency Exam
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the background check is in process
- Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background check results but must be supervised during this period
