Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 18 weeks
Job Summary
Provide nursing care based on the latest evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards to ensure safe and individualized patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate ongoing patient status, care, and treatment plans with patients, nursing colleagues, and healthcare team members.
- Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safe delivery.
- Perform Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations.
- Educate patients and families to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary patient discharging to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience with Special Procedures in Interventional Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience titrating drips
- Experience managing patients on ventilators
- Experience with conscious sedation

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Strong accountability for improving patient and caregiver outcomes.
- Exceptional teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing education and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
