Job Opportunity: Assistant Department Manager, Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide and assure quality care for patients of all ages, from neonatal through geriatrics.
- Manage and support Emergency Department staff under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
- Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department that handles a wide range of patient needs, including emergent and urgent mental health care.
- Care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Previous management experience required.
- BSN preferred.
- Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC/ATCN (Trauma Nursing Core Course / Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses)
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (due to CAP requirements).
