Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Port Charlotte, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Join a 253-bed acute care hospital with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit. The Physical Therapy department has about 20 PT caregivers, primarily working day shifts. Typical patient load is 9-10 patients per day, with a 75% productivity standard. The unit uses Meditech EMR and mobility equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• ICU experience

Work Schedule & Environment

• Scheduled according to facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Collaborative, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills preferred

Typical Duties

• Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment of patients in an acute care setting
