Job Opportunity: Echo Tech - Radiology

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with scheduled call nights and weekends
  • Unit: Echo
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Facility Type: Full-service hospital, Level II Trauma Center, Level 1 ICU, Pediatric ICU, Behavioral Health Center

Unit Information

  • Largest medical facility in the region with 318 patient beds
  • Serves southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana
  • High acuity patients undergoing ultrasound testing for cardiac problems
  • Patient age range: neonatal to geriatric
  • Exposure to body fluids and blood is common
  • Fast-paced, stat procedures environment

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as an Echo Technician
  • Proficient in Adult Echocardiography
  • Current certification: ARDMS or ARRT
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience working with neonatal and geriatric patients

Additional Information

  • Dress code: Follow assigned unit dress code, maintain a professional image
  • On-call and weekend coverage required
