Description
Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient
Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 20 weeks
Job Description
- Outpatient setting only
- Work schedule: 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours long
- Shifts start between 8:00 - 8:30 AM
- Shared housing provided at no cost
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
- Must meet all professional license verification requirements (no conditional licenses accepted)
- Required immunizations and health screenings including:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine (mandatory during flu season)
- TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity preferred
- Tdap vaccine preferred
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year of start date
- Fit test for N95 respirator within 1 year of start date (no exemptions allowed)
- Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender registry, and exclusion checks
- Documentation of work experience and education for the past 7 years
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
- Completion of FEMA ICS 100 training required
- Other required onboarding forms and attestations as per facility policy
