Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Mountain View, Missouri

Position Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist assists physicians in treating patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Acts as an advanced resource for other staff and functions within the scope of respiratory care guidelines established by the Missouri Board of Respiratory Care.

Work Details

• Department: Respiratory Unit
• Shift: Nights (3 shifts x 12 hours)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As needed
• Call Requirements: Must be able to take call hours as needed
• Patient Population: Patients with conditions affecting the cardiopulmonary system
• EMR System: EPIC
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; unapproved t-shirts and yoga pants are not allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) certification
