Job Opportunity: Temp Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule: Night shift, 36-40 hours per week with billable overtime after 40 hours.
Patient ratio: 1:4-5 in Stepdown/Progressive Care unit.
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Orientation dates available throughout the year.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing experience.
License: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA or ARC.
Other:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline.
- Work history/resume must document 24 months of current Stepdown/Progressive Care experience.
- Professional references preferred (from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or equivalent within last 24 months).

Additional Information

First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required).
Night shift with holiday and overtime differentials.
Call back and on-call pay available.

This position is ideal for experienced Stepdown nurses seeking a temporary assignment with a well-supported orientation and competitive working conditions.
