Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Summary

Float position for Physical Therapy (PT) covering all units
Weekend assignment requiring availability on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday
Day shift only (8-hour shifts)
Patient ratios: 8-10 acute care patients or 4 rehab patients
Equipment used: Hoyer, EZ Stand, BITS, Xcite
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech

Unit Information

Number of PT staff scheduled daily: 12-15
No night shifts available
Growing Rehab Unit focused on inpatient rehab patients
Team culture recognized with employee awards in 2025
New equipment available including Barihab and BURT device

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
BLS certification

Additional Details

Dress code: Scrubs of any color; professional appearance expected
No call requirements
