Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Inpatient

Location: South Williamson, Kentucky

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Must have 2+ years of Physical Therapist experience in an acute care setting (both inpatient and outpatient).
• Flexible schedule options: 8 or 9-hour days.
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly.
• Candidate must reside within 100 miles of the facility.
• Driver’s license required for submission.

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Kentucky Physical Therapist license.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of PT experience in acute care.
• Immunizations/Health Requirements:

  • Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer.
  • Proof of 3 Hepatitis B vaccine series or declination.
  • Annual Influenza vaccine (with accepted medical/religious exemptions).
  • Proof of 2 Varicella vaccinations or positive titer.
  • Tdap vaccination (valid for 10 years; declinations accepted).
  • TB Quantiferon blood test within one year prior to start.
  • Annual physical or health statement signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP stating clear to work without restrictions.
• Background and Compliance:

  • Recent background check (within 30 days prior to start) including criminal, employment, and education verifications.
  • Drug screen per facility requirements.
  • Completion of facility-specific skills checklist, competency exam, and core competencies annually.
  • Submission of professional references (2 required; one must be a supervisor within the last year).
  • Compliance with vulnerable adult maltreatment registry verification.
  • Completion of assignment confirmation within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
  • Completion of employee health attestation form prior to start.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidate must submit all required documentation in one PDF packet including license, certifications, driver’s license, resume, skills checklist, and references.
• Must not be submitted to more than one job at a time.
