Job Opportunity: RRT Pediatrics (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: Nights (schedule to be discussed during interview)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Weekend Requirement: As needed (no weekend block scheduling, but may be considered)
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted (100-mile radius rule)
  • First-time Travelers: Not accepted; prior travel required

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients within the last year

Special Requirements

  • Driver’s license must be included with submission
  • Pending licenses are NOT accepted
  • Must comply with all background checks and verifications as required
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
  • Fit test for 3M N-95 mask within 1 year of start (must pass)
  • Immunizations and health screenings required, including:
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for this facility)
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of vaccination or positive titer with boosters if needed)
    • Hepatitis B (3-shot series, positive titer, or signed declination)
    • Varicella (proof of vaccination or positive titer with boosters if needed)
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
  • Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending results accepted)

Additional Notes

  • Two recent professional references required
  • Background checks including statewide, county, federal, education verification, sex offender search, and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search
  • Various competency exams and certifications must be current and uploaded as required
  • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RRTs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
  • Photo badge required prior to start with strict guidelines (passport-style photo)
