Description
Job Opportunity: RRT Pediatrics (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Nights (schedule to be discussed during interview)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Weekend Requirement: As needed (no weekend block scheduling, but may be considered)
- Local Candidates: Not accepted (100-mile radius rule)
- First-time Travelers: Not accepted; prior travel required
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
- Experience working with Pediatric patients within the last year
Special Requirements
- Driver’s license must be included with submission
- Pending licenses are NOT accepted
- Must comply with all background checks and verifications as required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Fit test for 3M N-95 mask within 1 year of start (must pass)
- Immunizations and health screenings required, including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for this facility)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of vaccination or positive titer with boosters if needed)
- Hepatitis B (3-shot series, positive titer, or signed declination)
- Varicella (proof of vaccination or positive titer with boosters if needed)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending results accepted)
Additional Notes
- Two recent professional references required
- Background checks including statewide, county, federal, education verification, sex offender search, and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search
- Various competency exams and certifications must be current and uploaded as required
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RRTs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
- Photo badge required prior to start with strict guidelines (passport-style photo)
