Job Opportunity: RN Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)
Location: Waco, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
- Coordinate care among all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Required Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications
- Current RN license in Texas (Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start).
- BLS (American Heart Association certified).
- ACLS (American Heart Association certified).
Experience

- Fit Test: Required annually (preferred prior to start).
- 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
Background & Verification
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days prior to start; updated annually.
- Employment verification for past 7 years; updated annually.
- Education verification within 90 days prior to start.
- Professional references: At least two required prior to first assignment.
