Description

Job Opportunity: Temporary Respiratory Therapist

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Summary

Provide professional and clinical respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the respiratory therapy discipline across local campuses.
Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not eligible.
Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — must have at least 24 months of current Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Illinois (active at time of submission).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Valid Driver’s License.
Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist discipline required.
Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

First-time travelers are accepted (prior travel experience is not required).
Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility location.

This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists seeking a temporary assignment in Illinois with a reputable healthcare system.
