Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Temp)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to work day shifts. The role involves working with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment, typically supporting approximately 9 patients per shift. The technologist will always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech/Traveler and will not work solo. After midnight, coverage is provided by on-call staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
• Experience with GE MRI equipment (HDXT 16.0 and 23.0)
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travelers living within 50 miles will not be considered)

Additional Requirements

• Must include permanent address and any requested time off (RTO) at profile submission; no scheduling requests will be approved after offer
• No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

• Facility is a 298-bed teaching hospital with a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging department offering 24-hour MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray, and mammography services

Notes

• This is a temporary assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks
• The technologist will work primarily day shifts in a collaborative team environment
• Call coverage required after midnight
