Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- Unit: Respiratory Therapy
- Number of Beds: 437
- Staffing:
- Approximately 60 staff members
- Day Shift: Director, Manager, Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
- Night Shift: Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
- Patient Ratios: About 44-46 procedures per shift
- Equipment Used:
- Servo I ventilators
- Nebulizer
- Hamilton ventilators
- V60 ventilators
- Astral CPAP & BiPAP machines
- ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases)
- CPT (Chest Physiotherapy)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Job Description
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, including asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with collaborative physician relationships.
- Active disciplinary approach and critical thinking required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS

- Collaborative with physicians and other healthcare team members
