Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, and the ability to plan and deliver safe care. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience and supervise assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Knowledge of central lines
• Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience
• Telemetry experience

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Additional Information

• Must use specified submission template to be considered
• Facility setting includes LTAC/Telemetry units
• May require floating to other units
• EMR experience and work schedule details to be confirmed during interview process
