Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Dyersburg, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday-Friday
• On-Call: Saturday 24 hours, Sunday 24 hours every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer and Vascular Sonographer
• Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
• ARDMS certification required
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required; locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate.

Required Documents & Compliance

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years (including international if applicable).
• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service.
• I9 verification and E-Verify compliance.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
• N95 Fit Mask test within 1 year (no PAPR allowed).
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted).
• Immunizations:

  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions accepted)
  • COVID vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Varicella vaccination or positive titer with boosters if needed
  • Hepatitis B titer or series with booster if needed
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
• Skills checklist and employment application required.

Additional Notes

• Orientation includes EPIC test-out requirement (one attempt only; failure results in contract cancellation).
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start.
• Diploma/transcript required for Cath Lab specialties (not specifically stated for this role but may be relevant).
