Job Opportunity: CV Tech (Cath Lab Cardiovascular Tech/RCIS)

Location: Gresham, Oregon

Job Description

• Position: Cath Lab Angio Tech (with x-ray license) or Cath Lab Cardiovascular Tech/RCIS
• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts, variable days of the week
• Call: 1-2 weeknights per week (1730-2100), 1-2 Saturdays per month, occasional holiday call (0700-1730)
• Floating: Mandatory floating within the site and across the system; refusal to float will result in contract cancellation
• Education: Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
• Cancellation: Must cancel 1.5 hours before shift start; mandatory cancellation allowed one shift per two-week pay period without penalty

Required Qualifications

• Licensure:

  • Licensed Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R) OR
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA only)
  • BLS (AHA only)
• Experience:

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (years of experience not explicitly stated; assume minimum 1 year typical for this specialty)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Compliance and Background Requirements

• Criminal Background Check (7-year search minimum, including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, county, federal, FACIS L3, and international if applicable)
• Copy of diploma required for RRTs (if applicable)
• Primary source verification of certifications and licenses required
• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination (required Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID vaccine documentation or declination
• Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 12 months prior to start
• Respirator clearance: Annual medical clearance required unless no patient interaction

Additional Requirements

• Must sign Floating Acknowledgement
• Must review facility policies and procedures prior to start
• Two professional references required (supervisory or above, within 3 years)
