Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois

Job Description

Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. The RN provides clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Active Illinois RN license
  • ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of start
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Additional Requirements:

  • Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to Med Surg specialty
  • Two supervisory reference forms with dates of employment
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
• Applicants who were direct employees of the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner
• Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Work Conditions

• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours
• Overtime/Holiday pay: 1.25x regular rate
• Call back pay: 1.3x regular rate
• On-call rate available
