Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele (Travel)

Location: Alabaster, Alabama
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Position Details

• Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Days (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Float Requirements: Must float to like units within scope, including to facilities within a 25-mile radius

• Unit: 3rd Floor
• Number of Beds: 51
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Equipment: Telemetry monitors, IV pumps, Bipap
• EMR System: EPIC
• Type of Patients: Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Telemetry

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience, including experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification (AHA)
