Description
Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with a day off after call
- OR 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Call required: one night per week and every 5th weekend
- Floating between units required
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Special Procedures
- Neuro ICU experience
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Experience with EPIC documentation system
Required Certifications & Licenses
- South Carolina state license (Primary source verification required, must be current and valid)
Systems & Equipment
- Medication system: Omnicell
- Documentation system: EPIC (1 year experience required)
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check: 7-year history, must be current within 12 months
- Drug screening: 5-panel, within 1 year and updated annually
- Physical exam: Physician statement within 1 year attesting ability to meet job demands
- Immunizations and health documents:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if working in high-risk areas)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, positive titer, or signed declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine or approved exemption required (not required for remote workers)
- Respirator fit test to be completed onsite during orientation
Orientation & Training
- Completion of online modules within 72 hours of assignment (approx. 12 hours) required before start
- Pass/fail testing (medication and arrhythmia exams) required for RNs prior to start
- Annual competencies and core training required (universal precautions, OSHA, patient safety, etc.)
- Floating policy acknowledgment required
Additional Notes
- Badge photo required prior to start (passport-style, plain background)
- Must carry valid driver's license for computer access setup
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
