Description
Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Monday – Friday day shift
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Shift times may extend later (up to 7:00 or 8:00 PM) depending on patient volume
- No on-call required
- Final schedule to be discussed during interview
Required Qualifications
- Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Additional Requirements
- Background check within 30 days of start, including all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
- Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
- N95 Fit Test within 1 year (no PAPR allowed; failure to pass results in contract cancellation)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years if prior positive)
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Immunizations/vaccinations required:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; booster if low/equivocal)
- Hepatitis B (titer or series; booster if low/equivocal)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; booster if low/equivocal)
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
- Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season (no declinations or exemptions accepted)
- COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
Documentation & Compliance
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Complete employment application/resume
- Skills checklist as applicable to specialty
- Various background and compliance checks including EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
- Transcript/Diploma required for Cath Lab specialty (if applicable)
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
