Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Radiology
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 7 on / 7 off (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: None

- Patient Population: Newborn to geriatric, critical to ambulatory
- Work Environment: Will be working nights with one other technologist
- Float Requirements: None
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience working with neonate patients
- Experience working with geriatric patients
- Portable radiography experience
Additional Information
- Dress code includes grey scrub color with solid color under-scrub shirts
- No sweatshirts allowed as part of attire
- No weekend hours or call required
Summary
This is a night shift travel position for a Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years of experience. The role requires ARRT and BLS certifications, the ability to work independently, and experience with OR and portable imaging. The schedule is 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, with no call or weekend hours. The position involves working with a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics in a hospital setting using GE equipment and Cerner EMR.
