Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4/10's (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
On Call: 9-10 shifts per month and 1 weekend


Job Description

  • Position for a Cardio-Vascular Radiological Technologist with Cath Lab experience.
  • Duties include scrubbing and monitoring during procedures.
  • Must use sterile technique and have experience scrubbing cath lab procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, Peripheral).
  • Structural Heart experience preferred but not required.
  • STEMI coverage required.
  • Use of Impella and IABP devices expected.
  • Monitoring and recording on MacLab; training on MacLab use will be provided.
  • Responsible for knowledge of products and restocking rooms.
  • Scrub color: Any solid color.
  • EMR system used: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Proficient in sterile technique.

  • Facility uses Cerner EMR system.

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
