Job Opportunity: RRT Float (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)

Location: Anderson, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM
Work Settings: Adult Acute Care, ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, L&D
Floating Requirement: Must float to different hospital areas such as ED, ICU, CCU, General Medical Floors
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Charting System: EPIC
Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate
First-time Travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Experience working with Adult patients

Required Documentation & Compliance

Proof of I9 or Attestation
Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and international background check if applicable
Transcript or diploma as applicable
State license primary source verification
Color blindness test (Ishihara)
Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health
Annual fit mask test (N95 or equivalent)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per facility requirements
Immunizations or titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
Completed employment application/resume

Additional Information

Floating to multiple hospital units is required
Candidates must complete facility-specific online orientation and acknowledge safety manuals
Photo for badge required (no visible nose piercings allowed)
Stroke education and acknowledgment required for candidates working over one year at the facility

This position offers a night shift travel opportunity for RRTs with a minimum of 2 years of experience, flexible floating assignments, and comprehensive certification and compliance requirements.
