Description

Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Dixon, Illinois
Specialty: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

BLS Certification
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred (use 1 year as required)
Ability to start IVs preferred but not mandatory

Work Schedule

Alternating weekly schedule:
- One week Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- The other week Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus one day per pay period from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements

Additional Information

No floating or coverage of other areas required
Department uses Siemens Altea equipment
EMR systems: Cerner currently, transitioning to EPIC soon
Orientation is department-specific and conducted on the first day
No scrub color or dress code requirements
No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
