Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide oxygen therapy, ventilator management, breathing treatments, bedside PFT, bedside bronchoscopies, and ABGs.
Work settings include ED, Medical-Surgical, ICU, PACU, Ambulatory, Stepdown units.
Patient populations: neonates, adults, pediatrics.
Care areas: Critical care, Nursery, Medical Surgical, Stepdown Units.
Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (1830-0700).
Weekend shifts: 4+ per contract, every third weekend.
No call or floating required.
Accepts first-time travelers based on experience.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working with neonate, adult, and pediatric patients

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
