Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Chewelah, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

- Weekends required (minimum every other weekend)

- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
- Floating: No floating between units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- Must be completed within 45 days of start date
- Includes SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, education verification, motor vehicle record (if applicable), and international background if applicable
- Washington State Patrol Search (WATCH/WSP) required within 90 days of start
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) updated annually
- Immunizations: Tdap, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Hepatitis B (or declination), Flu vaccine (seasonal), COVID vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Respiratory safety clearance annually (for travel only)
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment history
- Skills Checklist: Annual update required for applicable units
Training & Competency
- Competency Exams: As applicable by profession and specialty
- Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable
- Epic Training: Completion of Epic modules required prior to or shortly after start
- WorkRamp Modules:
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific modules required
- Includes trauma-informed care and other facility-specific training
- Float Policy Acknowledgement: Required (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: Any color allowed for RN/Allied staff
- Parking: No fee
- This position supports first-time travel nurses; prior travel experience is not mandatory.
