Travel RN Medical/Surgical Job - Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Summary
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
- Coordinate care across all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.

Required Qualifications
- License: Current RN license in Oklahoma, with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
- Certifications: BLS (must be AHA certified).

Health and Immunization Requirements
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season; exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
- Varicella: Proof of immunity or two doses of vaccine; no declinations accepted.
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
- TB Testing: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire.
- Fit Test: Required annually; preferred prior to start.
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes.
- Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
Background and Verification Requirements
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days of assignment).
- EPLS check within 90 days of start.
- Education Verification within 90 days of start.
- Employment Verification for past 7 years.
- Professional References: At least two qualifying references prior to first assignment.
- Drug Screen: 12 panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID (must match address requirements).
- Resume/Profile submission.
- Confirmation of Assignment documentation.
- Badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations).
