Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• On Call:

  • 24 hours on holidays/weekends starting at 7:00 AM
  • 15 hours on weekdays starting at 4:00 PM
  • Rotational on-call coverage required
• Facility Level: Level III trauma center
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrubs Provided
• Blocked scheduling not considered
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, Genitourinary Studies/Procedures)
• Required general skills: Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, Genitourinary Studies/Procedures

Required Certifications & Licenses

• License: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
  • ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography) preferred

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
• Experience in Special Procedures
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Proficiency in Interventional Radiology
• Proficiency in Special Procedures
• Proficiency in Genitourinary Studies/Procedures
• Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including international if applicable
• Pennsylvania-specific clearances: Child Abuse Search, Fingerprint Results, PATCH Search, Medicheck Search
• Education verification for highest level of education
• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Negative drug screen (10 panel or 9 panel without THC) within 60 days of start
• Immunizations and titers:

  • TDAP within 10 years
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or vaccination series
  • Hepatitis B: positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series (declinations not accepted)
  • Varicella: positive titer or vaccination series
• COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination with facility-specific form
• Flu vaccination required unless declination accepted under specific conditions
• Respirator medical clearance required annually for respirator use (starting 04/07/2025)
• Professional references: minimum 2 within last 12 months
• Employment application with 7 years of work history and explanations for gaps over 90 days
• Competency exams including medication/pharmacology and dysrhythmia/EKG exams as applicable

Additional Information

• Scrub maintenance and sterile field adherence required
• Must be able to work rotational on-call shifts
• No prior travel experience required (first-time travelers accepted)
