Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy
Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Unit Information
- Department: Respiratory Services
- Number of Beds: 854
- Staff: Approximately 120 respiratory therapists
- Shifts:
- Day: 15-20 RRTs for adult service lines, 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds
- Night: 12-16 RRTs for adult service lines, 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds
- Patient Ratios: 10-25 patients per therapist
- Equipment Used:
- GE R860 Adult ventilators
- Draeger Infant/Peds ventilators
- Newport HT70 transport ventilator
- V60 Non-invasive device
- Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
- EMR System: Cerner
- Floating Areas: All critical care units and floors
- Dress Code: Medium Gray/Pewter scrubs
- Weekend Requirement: At least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Demonstrated competency as a Respiratory Therapist or knowledge of USP 800 guidelines for managing hazardous drugs

- Must be able to work varied weekends and on-call as needed
- Typical procedures performed align with critical care and pediatric respiratory therapy
