Description
Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist
Job Description
- Provide Occupational Therapy interventions per referral, including assessment, care planning, patient and family education, scheduling, documentation, and issuing adaptive equipment.
- Deliver care appropriate to the age of patients served.
- Assess patients and administer care plans aligned with physician, patient, and family goals.
- Provide high-quality and safe patient care.
- Assist in efficient and effective patient return to the highest degree of independence possible.
- Maintain cost-effective treatment plans.
- Assist in orientation of new employees and volunteers.
- Instruct and evaluate therapy and therapy assistant students during clinical affiliations.
- Regularly assume duties of Charge Therapist.
- Adhere to hospital safety standards and ensure department objectives are met.
- Coordinate with CCS Case Manager for referrals for ongoing occupational therapy services post-discharge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks (90 days).
