Job Opportunity: RN 6S Telemetry Stepdown

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Clinical Nursing
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Description

28-bed Cardiac Medical Stepdown/6 South unit
Specializes in recovery following vascular and electrophysiology procedures
Care for patients with acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, syncope, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure
Provides cardiac monitoring for all patient populations
Services include titration of multiple IV medications and conscious sedation for cardioversions
All nurses are ACLS certified and have completed an ECG interpretation course
Ideal for nurses interested in transitioning to an ICU setting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown nursing experience, with Stepdown experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Ability to interpret heart rhythms
