Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist

Location: Kearney, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer radiation therapy and perform CT simulations. The position involves working with approximately 10 patients per day using Varian True Beam and CT Scanner equipment.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekends or holidays (closed on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T)
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Proficient in administering radiation therapy, CT simulations, and patient care
• Good communication skills
• Driver’s license required (used to verify candidate location within 50 miles)
• Experience with Varian True Beam preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply may result in contract termination
• No floating between departments
