Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Information

  • Unit: Operating Room
  • Number of Beds: 10 ORs
  • Shifts: Call between 4-6 shifts per month
  • Shift Needs: Day and Night RNs and Techs
  • Patient Ratios and Equipment: Not specified
  • EMR system: Not specified

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Perioperative experience including orthopedic and trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSTs must be certified with ortho and trauma experience (if applicable)

Additional Information

  • Weekend and on-call shifts may be required
  • Dress code: Scrubs (specific color/attire not specified)
  • Unit policies and guidelines apply

  • Candidates without perioperative experience including ortho and trauma will not be considered
