Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Portland, Oregon
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10 hour days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Call: Approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
- Travel: Local travelers accepted
- Floating: Mandatory floating within site and across the system; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
- Education: Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
- Charting System: Epic
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Teaching, Level I Trauma
- Beds: 554 staffed beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS (AHA only)
- ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist certification)
- BLS (AHA only)
Required Compliance & Documentation
- Criminal background check (7-year search including SSN trace, nationwide sex offender, county, federal, FACIS L3, and international if applicable)
- Copy of diploma (if applicable)
- Primary source verification of certifications and licenses
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella immune titers or vaccinations
- Hepatitis B immune titer and vaccine series or signed declination
- Varicella immune titer or vaccinations
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 12 months prior to start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination (required annually)
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination
- Respirator medical clearance annually (unless no patient interaction)
- Two professional references (supervisory or above, within 3 years)
Additional Information
- No return to office (RTO) in first 2 weeks; max 7 days RTO allowed
- Low census mandatory cancellation: must cancel 1.5 hours before shift start; one mandatory cancellation allowed per two-week pay period without penalty
- Scrub color provided for X-Ray Tech/OR/IR/Cath Lab/PACU staff
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
