Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position for a Radiology Tech (not a nurse)
- Schedule options: 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts
- On-call requirements: one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 2 months
- Parking accommodations available for on-call staff
- Work within a 50-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- License: Virginia state license required; candidates can start with VA temporary authorization while license is pending
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Experience:
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated, but implied to be for a tech role (no nurse experience required)

- Seasonal flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands of the position
- Professional appearance guidelines must be reviewed and acknowledged
- Facility-specific compliance forms and screenings required prior to start
Additional Notes
- Fingerprinting required for Behavioral Health candidates only (not applicable here)
- Radiation badge must be supplied by the facility for new candidates
- References and clinical evaluations may be required for credentialing purposes
