Cath Lab Technologist - Kansas, Dodge City

Job Details

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Location: Dodge City, Kansas
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 on-call rotation
• Call Requirements: Rotated weeknight, weekend, and holiday call with a 30-minute response time
• Orientation: 4 weeks of 10-hour days including Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR training; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week

Unit Information

• 1 Cath Lab suite/lab
• Average 2-3 cases per day
• 2 current Cath Lab Techs on staff
• Call coverage 24/7
• Floating to Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR for Cath Lab cases; no other floating required
• Hospital laundered scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• Kansas state license for Cath Lab Tech
• Previous Cath Lab experience in cardiovascular procedures required

Job Duties

• Scrub and monitor cases
• Use GE imaging and hemo system EMR/equipment

Additional Notes

• Must submit driver’s license for radius verification (60 miles)
• Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
