Description
Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery (Travel)
Location: Davenport, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Work schedule includes every third weekend and Christmas holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Current and valid RN license for Iowa.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required for Birth Center RNs).
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.
- License/Certificate verification must be dated within 30 days of start.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for RNs in critical care areas (CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU) — confirm if applicable.
- Fit Test (respiratory protection) required.
- Specialty exam must be completed within the last year.
- Trinity-specific professional forms and agreements must be completed prior to start.
Health & Immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (booster required by Sept 2025) or approved exemption.
- MMR vaccination or immunity proof.
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (first dose prior to start).
- Influenza vaccine for the current flu season or approved exemption.
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) tuberculosis test.
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof.
- Tdap vaccination (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction).
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start.
Background & Compliance
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background checks from the last 7 years.
- Social Security Number verification.
- Education verification (highest level of academic education).
- Exclusion checks including EPLS, OIG/GSA, NSO, and OFAC sanctions.
- Trinity-specific compliance forms including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Integrity and Audit Services Form, and others.
- Iowa-specific Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training.
- Iowa criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registry checks.

- Skills checklist and specialty-specific competency testing.
- Trinity system access form completed one week before start.
- Resume and professional references required for submission.
